Taiwan Commate Computer Inc.(COMMELL), the worldwide leader of Industrial Single Board Computers, unveiled HE-B72 PICMG 1.3 half-size single board computer (SBC), or the system host board-Express (SHB Express™) based on Intel® 6th generation "Skylake-H" Core™ processor family. The SHB Express™ specification upgrades the original PICMG 1.0 specification, adding PCI Express slots for commercially available peripheral boards. The PCI Express interconnects with the backplane can operate at x1, x4, x8, x16, and others depending on the capabilities of both the SHB and the backplane. The SHB Express specification maximizes system design flexibility in a wide variety of military, industrial, medical and telecommunication applications by drawing from the standard slot-card economies of scale with commercial off the shelf PCI and PCI Express plug-in peripheral cards.

The "Skylake-H" 6th generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors, that will come with increased boosted CPU and GPU frequencies at the expense of higher power consumption. The HE-B72 PICMG 1.3 CPU card will be comprised of Core™ i3-6100E 2.7GHz with 2 CPU cores and 35 Watt TDP, i5-6440EQ Tubbo Boost up to 3.4GHz with 4 CPU cores and 45 Watt TDP, i7-6820EQ Tubbo Boost up to 3.5GHz with 4 CPU cores and 45 Watt TDP.[Continue reading →]

CMB-B72 fanless barebone system Taiwan Commate Computer Inc.(COMMELL), the worldwide leader of Industrial Single Board Computers, launches CMB-B72 PICMG 1.3 half-size series fanless barebone system based on Intel® 6th generation "Skylake-H" Core™ i7/i5/i3 processor with three expansion slots, is designed to meet the expansion capability(provides three expansion slots with two different combinations of PCI and PCIe slots: a. two PCI and one PCIe x16; b. one PCI, one PCIe x1 and one PCIe x16.), high performance, high-end media, broad I/O and fanless for a flexibility and wide variety of transportation, military, industrial, medical and telecommunication applications and more.

The "Skylake-H" 6th generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3 processors, that will come with increased boosted CPU and GPU frequencies at the expense of higher power consumption. The LE-37I 3.5-inch SBC will be comprised of Core™ i3-6100E 2.7GHz with 2 CPU cores and 35 Watt TDP, i5-6440EQ Tubbo Boost up to 3.4GHz with 4 CPU cores and 45 Watt TDP, i7-6822EQ Tubbo Boost up to 2.8GHz with 4 CPU cores and 25 Watt TDP (25W TDP this brings its low power-consumption that allows to be built into embedded systems with fanless configurations).
